Silicone-Based and Water-Based Lubricants - How Are They Different?
A water-based lubricant is an easy choice as it does little to mess up. It is also easy to wash off clothes and sheets. On the other hand, a water-based lubricant does not slip as long as a silicone-based lubricant. So it may have to be increased during sex.
The silicone-based lubricant stays on the skin and mucous membranes longer because it is not absorbed through them. On the other hand, it is harder to wash off than a water-based lubricant.

Water- and silicone-based lubricants are well suited for use with a condom and improve its durability.

Can all lubricants be used with a condom?
Lubricant with oil should not be used with the condom. The oil brittle the latex condom. Oil-based lubricants include, for example, petrolatum and baby oil.

Most lubricants do not contain oil but are silicone or water-based.

When is a lubricant necessary?
If your own moisture is not enough and intercourse feels painful or abrasive due to the drought, you should also use a lubricant.

There is no moisture at all in anal sex, so it can be difficult, if not impossible, to exercise without a lubricant.

The lubricant also helps if you want to have sex for a long time. The lubricant reduces abrasion, and it is possible to have sex for longer without irritating the lower end.

How to use lubricant?
The lubricant is applied to the penis or vagina and the labia, or both. You can use it as much as you feel good without worries.
